Weston Morris is a visual artist and educator working in video, sound, photography, digital arts, mixed media, and hybrid art forms.
He received his degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he studied under notable technology artists Doris Vila, Edward Wesly, Ellen Sandor, George E. Lewis and Edwardo Kac. Their insight on the endless possibilities of what technology can bring to art inspired Weston to use digital methods as one of the tools he draws on for creative expression. But his love for analog methods such as drawing, film photography, and vinyl recordings is also apparent in much of his work. Weston often uses contemporary ideas in combination with vintage and modern materials and image acquisition.
His artwork has been shown in many gallery exhibits in the Midwest and California and is part of numerous private collections.
